Challenge for surgeons is the larger nose with thicker skin and increased length. The nose was balanced on the profile view to give the patient a natural look, while giving her improved definition of her nasal tip and 3/4 view. Her nose preoperatively was found to be too long for her face. By shortening her nose, defining her nasal tip, her face postoperatively appears in better balance and her overall facial features are now more attractive.
