This patient is a former athlete, over 6 foot five inches, who is seeking a less intimidating presence to the outside of his nose while improving his breathing, without having his nose look like he has had a rhinoplasty. He sought Dr. Shah because of his ability to create a better looking natural nose without any stigma of rhinoplasty. During the consultation, Dr. Shah discussed creating a nose which would work with his facial features and subtle enhancement of his nose. His postoperative view demonstrates a technique Dr. Shah has developed to leave a slight nasal convexity along the bridge which creates an improved nasal profile without the tell tale sign of having a rhinoplasty. By leaving just the slight height to the bridge, the patient will be able to feel confident in social situations that his nose does not look operated on, maintains a masculine appearance, and creates a nose whose function is improved.
