The tabloids in America love a goodplastic surgery story, and the burning question “did they or didn’t they.?” However, it’s said that in Asia plastic surgery is much more prevalent, especially amongst entertainment industry; is that possible? Asian stars who have had rumored plastic surgery include Gong Li, Ayumi Hamaski (a Japanese pop singer who supposedly has had over 40 surgeries including rhinoplasty) and Raymond Lam, a Hong Kong actor.
Interestingly, most of the Asian stars in the United States, such as Lucy Liu or Zhang Ziyi have kept their looks more Asian and less stylized.
The key with any plastic surgery procedure is to make sure it looks natural and fits your face. Seeing a celebrity with a nice nose, be it natural or tweaked, should not necessarily make you want to have the same nose on your face.
